Summer is back in town!

I've been wanting to make a look using Zelda and Majora's Mask for ages, and now that summer finally came through it seemed like the perfect time for some color! It's blazing hot though, so I opted for a very light, almost translucent base using only a concealer where needed and some dusting with mineral foundation.

Read on for more pictures and the product list!

I couldn't really get my pictures right.. I should really buy a flash for my camera soon.

Product list:

Face:
Vichy Capital soleil spf 30 lotion for face
Benefit Erase paste (nose, under eyes and on blemishes)
MAD Minerals foundation: fair and fairly light mixed
MAD Minerals sheer tan matte bronzer under eyes to prevent reverse panda
Dior 533 Fruit de passion blush

Eyes:
Shiro Cosmetics Zelda (inner corner)
MAD Minerals Drama Queen (lid)
Shiro Cosmetics Majora's mask (outer V)
Shiro Cosmetics Conservation of momentum (lower lashline and browbone)
Essence Get big! lashes waterproof mascara

Brows:
Shiseido Natural eyebrow pencil in Deep brown

I really liked how this base turned out! I covered my under-eye circles with Erase Paste, and used a very sheer layer on my nose and cheeks to tone down blemishes and redness due to broken capillaries. Then I buffed in a little bit of mineral foundation to mattify and even out my skintone, while still letting my freckles show through.

What's your favorite foundation/concealer for summer?

Silke

I'm glad I finally got Zelda to work on me by combining it with these colors, I just didn't know what to do with it until now!

  5. Thanks!

And yeah, Shiro is awesome! So far the only mineral eyeshadows I own are from mad minerals and shiro. I've been meaning to order at other companies and expand my shiro collection, but there's just too much I want :)
