Water and fire with Shiro

Not my best look, but I really love these colors and how it makes my eyes so blue. I only used Shiro cosmetics on my eyes finally managed to keep some of the gorgeous glitter in subrosia on my eyelid instead of on my cheeks :)

My boyfriend gave me the constructive criticism that I blended too high upwards and not enough to the side on the outer V and that I should have showed a little more bare skin on the browbone. Woah! He is right too! I love how he is starting to notice these things. Sometimes I just don't see these kind of 'ratio' mistakes on myself.

Look at those pretty glitters in Subrosia! I need some sort of glitter glue soon, because there should have been 10 times more glitter packed on there.

Product List:

Face:
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation in B10 Beige pastel
Mac moisturecover concealer in NW20
MAD minerals foundation in fair
Yves Rocher eyeshadow in Peche nude (I went to my local Yves rocher after seeing this pretty blush swatch by Sparkling Luna, but now I feel like an idiot because I just noticed that I have been using an eyeshadow as a blush for weeks. It's the exact same size though!)

Eyes:
Urban decay Primer potion
Eyeshadows from inner to outer corner:  Likelike, Conservation of momentum, Ricky, Subrosia (foiled as a liner and to darken crease).

You can see swatches of my shiro cosmetics eyeshadows here and here.

Lips:
Catrice ultimate colour lipstick: Oh Juicy!

Snapshot my boyfriend took of me with my dog Sputnik. He now has a little mullet on his back and with the long hair on his ears he looks like a mix between Falkor from the neverending story and a rat. He looks ridiculous but it makes him even cuter :)

This was 2 weeks ago, the last time I wore eyemake-up apart from mascara. You can't tell in the pictures but that day I suddenly got a painfull burning rash on my left eyelid. I still can't wear any eyeshadow or liner. I have not been eating healthy food for the past few years and my body was so out of balance that I get these weird reactions. I'm working on it, but it's not easy to change your habbits without it turning into a diet. I really miss my make-up so now I am begging friends to allow me to do their make-up instead! Haha :)

My boyfriend wants to know if any on you also read Catrice as cat-rice?
Thanks for reading!

Silke

  1. You look awesome in orange! That's a shade I'm afraid of on me. I love it as a lipstick but I can't get it to look right on my eyes.
