DIY face mask for super smooth skin
Having very sensitive skin I am really cautious with store bought facemasks.. They always seem to contain something that makes my skin look worse than before, so I try to use natural ingredients and mix up my own masks. This one looked gross. I looked like I stepped out of a horror movie and my man was not amused :D However, it left me with super smooth skin!
Ingredients:
-handfull of oatmeal (preferably crushed better than mine)
-a few strawberries (mine were frozen but fresh ones are better)
-a few spoons of yoghurt
-teaspoon of honey
Yoghurt and strawberries both contain certain acids that have an exfoliating effect, while honey works deflamatory. And to top it all off, the oatmeal soothes your skin. I started off with dull dry skin with a lot of red spots, and my skin was visibly smoother and more even-toned afterwards. It also tasted and smelled like dessert :)
What are your favorite facemasks?

you're such a mask maker!
ReplyDeletethough if i had fresh strawberries i would rather eat them than making a mask out of them haha!
i use masks from lush a lot nowadays, but i think you have a lot dryer skin than me so i have to have other masks for my oily face.
i use cupcake fresh mask from lush, and their mask of magnaminty which also is filled with grains so it works as a scrub as well!
but i love seeing you experiment with masks haha!/Azure
Haha, well unfortunately I can't do much more than use gentle masks and paint my nails at the moment :) I have smelled the cupcake mask when I was at Lush before and it smells divine!
DeleteThankyou very much for the comment on my blog :D
